The Business Analytics Department and the Data Science Department are umbrella organizations that GW DATA is a member of. GW DATA is part of the Undergraduate Business Association, which represents all of the business organizations, and the E-Council, which represents all of the SEAS organizations. Since data science and analytics spans both, we participate in events hosted by both. Additionally. GW DATA has a partnership with business fraternities, Delta Sigma Pi and Alpha Kappa Psi. These umbrella organizations allow us to collaborate with other relevant student organizations to host events together and cross-promote events.
